EQUALIZING X DISTORT

ruidosa inmundicia - demo '04
featured on the august 28th program ruidosa inmundicia are a hardcore band from austria that sing in spanish.
they remind me of los crudos in terms of sound and delivery. rapid fire short songs filled with anger.

HEARTATTACK

ruidosa inmundicia - demo
i'm pretty sure the name means noisy madness in spanish, which fits the music pretty well.
everthing is in spanish, but their contact says vienna so i have no idea.
these dudes and one dudette belt out some pretty nonstop politically fueled thrash that doesn't let you catch your breath
until the assault is over. fronted by vocalist carolina, who has probably the most brutal female vocals i have heard in punk,
makes them kick more ass. it always gives me chills when girls can use their vocal chords in ways that make you go "holy shit".
I´m glad i gave this demo tape a chance. when i put this on for the first time in my car i almost got in a car accident
because i was moshing in the front seat. look out for this guys because i have the feeling they are going to be
making a lot of noise soon.

MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL

ruidosa inmundicia - demo '04
ruidosa inmundicia plays fast, aggressive, raging punk/thrash.
the trading male and female vocals rule, and are en espanol.
don't worry thought, the lyric sheet is in english too.
which is great because the lyrics have very well concieved and articulated politics. awesome! 11 song cassette, lyrics included.

hell yeah, this is fucking killer fast (but still hookladen) hardcore with modern guitar flourishes and
intense female vocals that totally put this record over the top for me.
i heard this band's demo about a year ago and this is a total improvement over that already great tape.
this band is austrian, i believe, but the sing in all spanish-a quick google search reveals that they have some chilean members.
somehow, over the speedy songs the singer manages to convey a ton of feeling-she totally sells every single word that she screams.
i feel like this band could fit snugly on along with the last fifteen years or so of catchy but still fast spanish language hardcore
coming out of chicago and championed by labels like southkore and lengua armada.
there are so many great bands in europe i fear i will never get to see, and i can now add ruidosa inmundicia to that list.

heart-racing hardcore. fast all the way through, with the occasional slowdown. the rabid vocals are
along the same lines as saira from detestation, except angrier sounding and trading off with a male
counterpart. the band is from austria but the lyrics in spanish and two of the members are from chile,
originally. literally no space between songs, one rager after another, applied lethally.

(maximum rock'n'roll presents 2006 : the year in records)
what was one of my best demo finds of last year is one of the best records of this one. ruidosa inmundicia has intensely brutal
female vocals over breakneck hardcore, that gets me fucking pumped. i can only imagine they are a sight to behold live, i hope
the hit states one of these days.

ruidosa inmundicia / solid decline - split lp (thought crime records)
solid decline is like if you occasionally interspersed schlong (uh, the band) or 'victims family' with super intense, relentless
violent hardcore. it's absolutely vicious thrashing with brutal vocalizations and inspired lyrical topics, but the 16 tracks continually
detour into qurky musical passages of all tempos before they quickly whiplash back into full tilt thrash ... Similar in structure to the
a lot of the experimentation of late 80's quirky swedish hardcore like 'raped teenagers' or even the old american band 'th' inbread', but
way less melodic, at triple speed, and way more brutal. The difference is also in solid decline's modern delivery, which is completely manic
like 'the neighbors'. it all makes for one of the more engaging sides of a record to come out from Germany in awhile.
ruidosa inmundicia sings in spanish (with great COMES-styled femal vocals) but their sound is total modern brazilian
hardcore - super amped, drum driven, unrelenting breakneck hardcore. In no way as chaotic as solid decline, but the ten tracks match the
intensity perfectly. great split in a beautiful nice cover!

Ox!

ruidosa inmundicia / solid decline - split lp | thought crime | thoughtcrimerecords.de

PLASTIC BOMB

ruidosa inmundicia demo '04 - tape

PROFANE EXISTENCE

demo 2004 cassette
this band comes from vienna and are on 45 rpm at all times! carolina screams her head off and
fast as hell at that. it's impressive. the drums are a constant roll, guitar wails in
that state of fear fashion. i find myself having to catch my breath after every song. the energy
is amazing and exhaustive. lyrics are about exploitation, inequality, political prisoners,
indifference, and are delivered in afull on fed up manner. it's been a while since I've
listened to a band of this style and I'm happy to review it. pure anarchist music from austria.
(hatchet, PE #50/51 winter/spring'05/'06)

SHORT,FAST + LOUD!

ruidosa inmundicia - demo
really intense fast hardcore here, with harsh female vocals.
sounds similar to los crudos in it's vocal approach, but the music's much faster.
really good production and the musicainship is tight. 11 tracks of brutal hardcore all the way from vienna!
(am, SFL #15)

SLUG AND LETTUCE

ruidosa inmundicia - demo 04 cassette
fucking brilliant demo, worthy of immediate vinyl release.
crazed female vocals blasting over and fastcore attack second to none.
the riffs here are busy as hell, but that never slows the pace a bit,
and these eleven songs fly by in an instant, slowing down only for the odd breakdown.
the songs swell with the energy of a fanatical hardcore show, energy that is perfectly captured on tape...
i wanna go apeshit watching this band live. lyrics in spanish, with english translations...
i have my suspicions that this might be a side project for another killer south american band
(and that is where i took for influences to describe this band´s sound: i shot cyrus, migra violenta,
abuso sonoro all hit pretty close to the mark),
but with no real info, i´ll keep my thoughts to myself. side project or not, ruidosa inmundicia are 100% amazing here,
and i only hope that there is more coming.

SOUND IDEA DISTRIBUTION

i remember the first time I heard the demo I was just blown away by this band and knew I had to get my hands on this 7".
well, my expectations were met when i received it on the mail and heard it. these guys are from chile but reside
in austria. every song is a ripper. fast as hell hardcore that way it should be with great screaming vocals in spanish mainly by
a female. oh yeah, i should also mention that these are some of the best, sickest vocals I ever heard too. one thing I really like
about the songs on this ep is that they don’t slow down a bit. every song starts fast and ends the same way. they also mix thrash
with a little bit of crust here and there. crudos is definitely one of their influences. if you can get your hands on this
7", do so now cause it won’t last.

SUBURBAN VOICE

solid decline / ruidosa inmundicia - split lp (thought crime)
these two european bands (sd are from germany, ri from austria) both tear through their brief songs with unfettered aggression. solid
decline’s members all used to be in the band Y and, after a few ep's (including a double), this is their first 12” release (same for ri).
whereas Y operated mainly in grind realm, this band have staked out slightly different territory. kickass hardcore punk but with other
twists and wrinkles. a wild ride executed with super-tightness and including everything from thrash to west coast punk and there’s one
song that starts with almost a country-ish shitkick intro before turning on the speedjets. ruidosa inmundicia don’t allow any breaks between
the songs either. caro howls at the top of her lungs, accompanied by the musical flail. After a demo and 7” (also on thought crime), they’ve
perfected their fast hardcore approach. the packaging is top-notch, as well--a screen printed/heavy stock cover presenting an image of
tranquil tropical beach scene underneath a black and white image of fighter planes and a bombed out building. (thomas franke, muskauer Str. 19,
